Now, I dunno. The empties don’t lie, and neither do the headlines. Nearly a 30% drop in DUI arrests this weekend compared to last year - and it’s not like last year was all that impressive. What does it say about a city’s morale when it can’t even be relied on to go out and get hammered? How depressed do you have to be to not even have the wherewithal to drink away your depression?
